Ohio LinuxFest is proud to announce that Jon "maddog" Hall will be returning to deliver a keynote presentation at this year's event.

Maddog is the Executive Director of Linux International. His career spans many companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation, where in 1994 he arranged to have an Alpha computer provided to Linus Torvalds for the first port of Linux. He has also taught at several colleges and consulted for the United Nations and national governments on Free and Open Source Software. Currently, maddog is bringing a model of environmentally-friendly and economically sustainable computing to emerging markets through Project Cauã.

His involvement with the Ohio LinuxFest dates back to 2004, when he was instrumental in helping the event happen. We have been honored to have maddog speak many times since then.
