It takes a lot of effort to put on Ohio LinuxFest each year, but as the old saying has it, many hands make light work. Maybe you can volunteer for one of our needed areas.

The Logistics Manager must be an organized person who can make sure all fine details are met. Whether it is making sure a room has the correct setup or a specific device appears in the right place, this person will work with others to make sure it all happens.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for:

• Working with conference chairs to develop pre-show and day-of-event checklists
• Carrying out execution of checklists
• Helping to work with various vendors and companies for equipment or room needs

The Logistics Manager must be able to follow up with and monitor delays and other issues.
