Aleksey Tsalolikhin
Aleksey Tsalolikhin has been an avid UNIX/Linux system administrator for 14 years. Wrangling EarthLink's server farms by hand during growth from 1,000 to 5,000,000 users, he developed an abiding interest in improving the lot of system administrators through configuration management, documentation, and personal efficiency training. He offers public and private training in these areas.
Vertical Sysadmin is a training firm with a new approach that balances theory and practical. We focus on understanding the basics. Our product is successful application of the material by our students, not merely communication of the information. Both new and veteran IT staff can benefit from our training.
Aleksey is teaching Editing with vi and Time Management for SysAdmins at Ohio LinuxFest Institute 2012.
