Scott and Katherine Courtney

Scott Courtney is a Principal Engineer with Sine Nomine Associates, an IT consultancy that provides engineering services and enterprise support featuring Open Source software and tools. He has over 25 years of experience as a computer professional, and has been teaching classes on technical topics as part of his work for over a decade. Scott has been using Linux at home and at work since the late 1990s and is a contributor to several Open Source software projects.

Katherine Courtney is employed as a Research Specialist for Sine Nomine Associates. A former public librarian, Kathie helped design and maintain the library's website and genealogy database using Linux tools on a Linux server. She has been a Linux user at home and at work and for over ten years.

Scott and Katherine are teaching the Linux Basics class for OLFI 2012.
